Apple Crisp
Apples, Fast and Easy
FILLING
- 6 - 8 apples
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
CRUMB TOPPING
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- pinch of salt
- Peel, core and slice apples
- add white sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir
- Put in an 8 x 8 inch butter pan
- Mix together with finger tips crumble topping ingredients.
- Spread on top of apples
- Bake for 35 - 40 mins, until topping is brown, bubbles up along sides and apples are fork tender.
- If your apples are really tart increase white sugar. (Mar 21, 2019)
