Sour Cream Cookies
You can't taste the sour cream
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup sour cream
Topping Mixture:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. cinnamon
- Preheat over to 350°F.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add vanilla.
- Add eggs; beat until fluffy.
- Shift flour, salt, and soda together.
- Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream, mix thoroughly.
- Drop medium-sized spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet, 2-3" apart.
- Sprinkle with sugar mixture.
- Bake for about 12 minutes - watch carefully, bottoms burn easily, don't over bake.
- Use a shaker or old spice container for the topping mixture. (Apr 26, 2020)
