Roast Beef (Top Sirloin or Inside Round)
Basic cooking technique.
- 1.5 kg top sirloin premium oven roast OR 1 kg inside round oven roast
- salt, pepper, spices
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Rub spices on all sides of the roast.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then lower oven temperature to 275°F and cook until internal temperature reads 140 - 145°. It should take about 2 hours.
- Remove from oven, tent with foil and let rest for 15 minutes before carving.
