Roast Beef (Top Sirloin or Inside Round)

  • 1.5 kg top sirloin premium oven roast  OR  1 kg inside round oven roast
  • salt, pepper, spices
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Rub spices on all sides of the roast.
  3. Cook for 10 minutes, then lower oven temperature to 275°F and cook until internal temperature reads 140 - 145°. It should take about 2 hours.  
  4. Remove from oven, tent with foil and let rest for 15 minutes before carving.
